RASUL INVESTS IN E-RETAILER
Posted on Saturday, October 18, 2008
RASUL INVESTS IN E-RETAILEREntrepreneur Shaf Rasul has made a multi-million pound investment in internet retailer www.boffer.co.uk  .

Boffer was launched three weeks ago and is already a huge hit amongst the online community, selling an eclectic range of quirky products secured from excess and bankrupt stock.

The website sells only one product a day at a bargain price. The offer goes live at midnight and remains on the website till all stock is sold or until 23.59 the following evening.

The site is now the 2000th busiest webpage in the UK and online shoppers are flooding to the site at midnight to snap up the latest deal – some popular offers have sold out in seconds.

Rasul’s optical media company E-net Computers is the largest storage media distributor in Europe and is one of the biggest buyers of DVD and CD-R media in the world

The business already supplies multi-media technology to a number of leading e-retailers throughout Europe. Boffer will now have access to its diverse supply network.

Rasul said the agreement represents a great opportunity for both parties to exploit the exponential growth in online retailing.

He also believes that deal will allow him to continue to develop E-net into one of the biggest support services groups for online retailers in Europe.

He said: “Boffer is a great concept that has captured the imagination of the internet community through its diverse product range and targeted viral marketing strategy.

“It was clear that with the proper support, buying power and exposure to a wider supplier network it has the potential to be an extremely successful business.

“The clear objective will now be to make Boffer a bigger business and a bigger client for E-net. The funding package will allow the business to buy larger volumes of excess inventory and bankrupt stock which will help drive more traffic to the website.

“The agreement will also introduce the business to manufacturers and distributors all over the world who have an overstock of products.”
